Public Space

Improving and creating new public space is a speciality of the developers of The Bower, Helical plc. The Bower benefits from over an acre of landscaped outside space including public art, outdoor eating, as well as an internal communal area, ‘The Hub’, where tenants can work, socialise and relax.

The public realm will further improved by TfL’s plans to transform Old Street roundabout into a more pedestrian and cycle friendly environment, creating new public space in a peninsula around the station that will include a new station entrance. Read more about their plans here.
