Perlin Canopy at The Bower
Posted in: The Scheme on October 13, 2018
The Perlin Canopy is a media artwork inspired by the tree-lined canopy of the original site, a ‘bower’, which gave its name to the development. It features 80 LED rings that will change in colour with the seasons, as well as with the daily weather conditions, creating a light and shadow projection. The installation was created by Jason Bruges, who has also created public artworks at 10 Downing Street, the Barbican and the Natural History Museum.
